MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE (1932) [PARIS MYSTERIER] Swedish Poster

Vintage original 27 x 39″ (67 x 97 cm.) poster, Sweden. Bela Lugosi, Sidney Fox, Leon Ames, Bert Roach, Arlene Francis, dir: Robert Florey; Universal.  One of the classic pre-Code Universal horror films and one for which original material is nearly unobtainable. A maniac scientist mixes human blood with that of an ape and kidnaps women to do experiments on, with disastrous results.

A bizarre color scheme highlights the ape and his victim. The poster has been professionally mounted on linen due to the fragile nature of the paper.  The poster was in original rolled condition. A couple of minor inter-tears have been addressed with unnoticeable touch-up.  ABOUT FINE.
