CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, THE (1954) Belgium Poster

Vintage original 25 x 14 ½” (64 x 27 cm.) poster, Belgium.  There is one horizontal fold which only involves the blank area at top, otherwise unfolded and just about fine.  Richard Carlson, Julia Adams, dir: Jack Arnold; Universal-International.
A wonderful poster, which is adapted from the artwork for the U.S. insert and three sheet posters, except with more delicate posters and somewhat more painstaking rendition of the Creature and of Adams.  Also, the word “RELIEF” at bottom is French for 3-dimension—making this one of very few posters made in any country with a 3-D designation actually printed on the poster (in the U.S., except for the window card, the other posters simply had small printed snipes stating 3-D glued on).  Poster is in exceptional condition, with bright colors.     450.00
