Sold

Vintage original black-and-white 14 x 11″ (35 x 28 cm.) double weight glossy silver gelatin print still photo, USA. Ann-Margret, Harvey Evans, Fred Gwynne, Anne Meara, Ann Miller, Dick Shawn, dir: Walter C. Miller: NBC. Ann-Margret is caught by Al Levine’s camera deep in concentration while filming the TV movie special Dames at Sea. Based on the hit off-Broadway show of the time (featuring Bernadette Peters), this was a scaled-down tribute to the Busby Berkeley/Warner Brothers musicals of the 1930s. At the time, TV audiences welcomed broadcast versions of stage musicals.

The “N.B.C. photo by Al Levine” stamp is on the verso as is the attached NBC photo blurb describing the colorcast for Nov. 15, 1971. Tiny emulsion scrapes at the very edge top and bottom center only. NEAR FINE.
