The great Billy Wilder classic comedy set in the prohibition, it is the story of two jazz musicians who witness the 1929 Chicago St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, disguise themselves as female musicians, and join an all -girl band. Director Wilder brought out the finest comic performances of his cast. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including best director. Here in still SL(81-5)16 are Tony Curtis and Lack Lemon as the female impersonating band members along with Marilyn Monroe and the all-female jazz band performing RUNNIN’ WILD on the train to Palm Beach.
