[Hollywood: RKO Pictures, 1941]. Set of three (3) vintage original 13 1/2 x 10 1/2″ (34.5 x 27 cm.) double weight black-and-white print still photos. Two of the three have studio text affixed on verso, JUST ABOUT FINE.

Director William Dieterle’s adaptation of the Stephen Vincent Benet short story “The Devil and Daniel Webster”. One photo is a portrait of Walter Huston, who plays “Scratch” (the Devil), another is of Edward Arnold as Daniel Webster, and the third shows in foreground James Craig and Anne Shirley as Jabez and Mary Stone, in this retelling of the Faust legend.
