Jules and Jim fall in love with Catherine. She marries Jules, but after the war, when they meet again, Catherine falls in love with Jim. The three characters share love and their friendship endures throughout the years. Filmed on location in numerous parts of France, celebrity photographer caught star Jeanne Moreau in a happy candid moment while on location in Mulhouse, France. She was 33 at the time of filming and a veteran film actress since 1949. Still with us, her most recent credit is for the 2015 film LE TALENT DE MES AMIS. Peter Bash’s photograph ink stamp is on the verso as is his Peter Basch Studios stamp and stamp for his New York City address. He has signed in pencil as well.
