LAUREL AND HARDY / TIT FOR TAT (1935)

Sold

Vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm.) black-and-white single weight glossy silver gelatin print still photo, USA. Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Mae Busch, Charlie Hall, dir: Charles Rogers; Hal Roach / MGM. Stan and Ollie run an electrical repair store and do their best to welcome the new grocers to the neighborhood. However, the grocer feels that Ollie is attempting to seduce his wife. This leads to hostility and the ruining of the property of each shop.
It seems that the duo had met this couple, Mr. and Mrs. Hall, the year before in the short Them Thar Hills. The four main players appear in still labeled “H.R.L 21-13”. There is a minor crease to the top left corner. The bottom right corner is missing but this only effects the blank white margin area. VERY GOOD.
