Here is director Pier Paolo Pasolini working on Uccellacci e uccellini (The Hawks and the Sparrows). On either side of him are his stars Toto and Ninetto Davoli. The film reflects Pasolini’s Marxist concerns about poverty and class conflict, and he regarded it as the personal favorite of all his films.
