Distinctive artwork by B. Krause of Rollins, in the critical role of Coalhouse Walker. Walker’s refusal to bend to racist bullying lies at the heart of this episodic ensemble film adapted from the novel by Doctorow. The American posters for RAGTIME do not show Rollins, and this is certainly one of the few good posters to illustrate this classic movie.
