PETE SEEGER [ca. 1967-97] Photo archive

$125.00

Set of four vintage original glossy black-and-white photos: three 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm) and one 6 1/2 x 8 1/2″ (16.5 x 21.6 cm) with attached printed blurb on verso, overall near fine.

Social activist and key figure in the American folk scene, Pete Seeger is presented here in four publicity stills. One is for a CBC-TV special taped in Toronto titled “Ballads of a Blind Man”, telecast on May 12, 1969. One shows Seeger performing on a soundstage, while another shows him performing outdoors with the New York skyline and the World Trade Center’s twin towers in the background. The last is a publicity photo with his name printed on front and a MS note on verso providing contact info and credit for photographer Emilio Rodriguez (who was also Seeger’s son-in-law and father of Tao Seeger-Rodriguez, Seeger’s grandson).
