JEAN HARLOW | BOMBSHELL (1933) Photo by Clarence Sinclair Bull

Sold

Vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm.) black-and-white double weight glossy silver gelatin print still photo, USA. Jean Harlow dons a top hat in this Clarence Bull-photographed cheesecake portrait. It was all in the name of promoting her latest MGM film, BOMBSHELL. Harlow had one of her finest vehicles in the story of a movie star fed up with her life. The script was based on several circumstances in the life of Clara Bow. The original typed attached blurb is on the verso and this is still no. 3164. Photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull’s ink stamp is also on the back, as is the original magazine usage ink stamp from Picture Show. There are light signs of handling in blank margins, NEAR FINE.
