MARILYN MONROE (1954) Studies script in rare Earl Leaf photo

Vintage original 7 ½ x 9 ½” (19 x 24 cm.) black and white single weight glossy silver gelatin print still photo, USA. Photographer Earl Leaf of the Rapho-Guillimette Agency took this lovely informal portrait of Monroe, early in 1954. There are several publisher’s stamps and markings on the verso, one dated 5/13/54 as well as the Photographer’s ink stamp. This may be at the time she was in Los Angeles working on the big Twentieth Century Fox musical THERE’S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS. Monroe displays a relaxed attitude and exudes great charisma even in a candid moment. Photograph is borderless has minor creases at the corner edges. ABOUT FINE.
