SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS (1937) Production drawing of “Bashful”

Sold

[Los Angeles: Walt Disney Productions, 1937]. Vintage original 10 x 12″ (25 x 31 cm.) animation production art. Rendered in graphite and pencil on 12 x 10″ sheet of animation paper. Holes for the animation stand are present, some wrinkling to the paper, hand coded 23D. About fine.

Delightful image of Bashful from Disney’s first feature cartoon. It appears that he is marching to the dwarfs’ song “Heigh-Ho”. A groundbreaking film which changed the way movies are made and gave Walt Disney and company their base for years of success. Original production animation art is found less and less.
