KEY LARGO (1948) Lobby card no. 6

Vintage original 14 x 11” (35 x 28 cm.) lobby card #6, USA. Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, Lauren Bacall, Lionel Barrymore, Claire Trevor, dir: John Huston; Warner Brothers.

There were many tense moments in the Richard Brooks, John Huston screenplay, one here between Bogart, Trevor (who won an Academy Award) and Bacall.  When a man visits a friend’s hotel he finds that gangsters have taken it over as a hurricane approaches the shores of Key Largo. A few of the scenes were taken on location in Key Largo at a time when two hurricanes hit the area, however, the film hurricane was created on the Warner Brothers lot.  Card 6 features a moment between the star leads Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.  Very minor soil to white background only.  ABOUT FINE.
