CARY GRANT, RANDOLPH SCOTT (ca. 1935)
Sold
Vintage original 10 x 8″ (25 x 20 cm.) black-and-white photo, USA. Printed caption on verso reads: “HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?…. Cary Grant and Randolph Scott, Paramount screen players, are shown as Hollywood’s popular bachelors. The question is, ‘how long will it last?'”
Never was there a more clear example in Hollywood history of “hiding in plain sight” than during this interval, documented here, during which Grant and Scott shared a “bachelor bungalow” in Santa Monica, and all the studio publicity machine actually tried to focus on this.
Light wear and one very small tear at edges, VERY GOOD+.
