Vintage original program, quarto, pictorial wrappers, 20 pp., slight wear along spine, one MS inscription on inner front cover, near fine. Zevin-Present: San Francisco, [ca 1951].
Finocchio’s was a San Francisco night club which featured a roster of transgendered performers. It may well have been the longest-lived club of this kind in the U.S., since it lasted from 1936 to 1999. It catered to a mixed clientele. This program features many photos of the featured performers in drag. The OCLC records only one known copy (Yale).
