Marilyn Monroe, Yves Montand, Tony Randall, Wilfrid Hyde-White, dir; George Cukor; Twentieth Century Fox. Upbeat musical about a billionaire who is to be satirized in an off Broadway musical. When he goes to investigate the production, he is mistaken for an actor, thought to be perfect for the lead and ends up being cast as himself and therefore can be near the attractive leading lady he finds he has a crush on. Fortunately, of course he can sing, as he demonstrates in the photo as he rehearses with the leading lady. Monroe did not like the script but had top writers Norman Krasna and Hal Kanter, as well as super director George Cukor, Technicolor and a big budget. She and Montand also embarked on a love affair during filming. Tear at top right corner, pin holes filled in at each of the four corners. NEAR FINE.
