French exhibitor book for a distributor which handled a number of important films at the very end of the silent era, many of which receive mostly four page photomontage layouts, including CE N’EST QUE VOTRE MAIN…MADAME (I KISS YOUR HAND, MADAME, 1929), one of Marlene Dietrich’s very last German films just prior to her appearance in THE BLUE ANGEL; LES TISSERANDS (DIE WEBER, 1929), which had William Dieterle as actor in a Gerhard Hauptmann adaptation; C’EST LA VIE (DOWNHILL, 1927), one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best silent films; and LOULOU (PANDORA’S BOX, 1928), the mythic Louise Brooks vehicle by G.W. Pabst.
