Timothy Ray, son to actress Gloria Grahame and director/writer Nicholas Ray, was born Nov. 12, 1948. Here they are in early-1949 with their infant baby. Ray and Grahame were married from 1948-52. Ray, who was 12 years older than Grahame, had a son by a previous marriage name Anthony. When Grahame married Anthony in 1960, Nicholas came after her for custody of Timothy. All was smiles in 1949. Timothy, still living, worked as an actor and in the camera department of the industry during his young adulthood.
