Goat Alley. [New York: 1927]. Vintage original 14 x 11″ (36 x 28 cm) black-and-white stage photo. Contemporary MS notes on back, as well as stamps from Brown Brothers photo agency. Small wear to extreme blank edge, one neat mend with archival paper at extreme bottom, overall very good+.

Goat Alley is a Black cast play which first appeared on Broadway in 1921. This photo is from a short-lived revival given in 1927 which lasted for 13 performances. The photo shows stars Evelyn Ellis and Edward Thompson.
