A stunning classic (and classy) glamour image of iconic movie goddess Jean Harlow. This portrait is from her early days at MGM, when her “makeover” included an agenda to make her not just sexy, but classy as well. Her talent for comedy was most evident in the films Red Dust and Dinner at 8, films which this portrait publicized. A grand yet abbreviated career, hers was a cautionary tale, a life made tragic by greed that can plague those around a star.
