A tense moment between stars Hepburn and Barrymore. Hilary Fairfield (Barrymore) returns home after 15 years in an asylum to find both his former wife and daughter about to marry. George Cukor cast Hepburn in her first film and they established a life-long relationship. Cukor populated the film with a largely LGBTQ cast and crew.
