In preparation for her appearance in the Joe Pasternak all-star musical Thousands Cheer, Kathryn Grayson models an amber and brown cocktail hat decorated with curled feathers (according to the typed blurb on verso of each photograph). With this film, Grayson moved to star status at MGM, where she remained for the next ten years providing her soprano voice to those Arthur Freed and Pasternak musicals which made the best use of her talent.
