[Los Angeles: RKO Radio Pictures, 1932]. Vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm. ) black-and-white glossy silver gelatin photo. Chip at right top corner edge, about fine.

Myrna Loy did a bit of freelancing before working exclusively for MGM. At RKO she was cast in several interesting roles, including those of an exotic nature which for some reason the Montana-born star, raised mostly in Venice, CA, was prone to be cast as, before playing Nora Charles in the Thin Man series. Thirteen Women had her playing a Javanese fortune teller hellbent on doing in those sorority sisters who did her wrong in college.

Here she is confronted by Ricardo Cortez, who is working for the law. Original typed blurb attached to verso as well as ink stamps for both Photoplay library and RKO Pictures and a date stamp of Aug. 1932. Photo coded 605-22.
