Vintage original 8 x 11″ (20 x 28 cm.) double weight glossy gelatin silver print keybook still photo, USA. Julie Bishop, Charles Quigley, Rita Hayworth, John Gallaudet, dir: Lambert Hillyer; Columbia. Columbia started their star build-up with Hayworth when this film was made, in which she was featured in a supporting role. It was the story of a girl’s baseball team, racketeers and murder; Hayworth played the baseball catcher who ends up dead.
Still includes the original typed paper blurb on the back, the ink stamp of photographer M. B. Paul, and the Columbia file system stamping with pencil notations indicating that the Hays Office had approved the still and that it was sent to the New York office on 5/1/37. Still is coded C.P. Corp C. Col-67-72. Two keybook punch holes at left margin edge. John Galllaudet is seen with Hayworth. NEAR FINE.
