$750.00Calcutta, [1989]. Five (5) vintage original Indian photos; three are 6 1/4 x 4″ (16 x 10 cm.), one is 5 x 6 7/8″ (13 x 18 cm.) and borderless, one is double weight and 7 7/8 x 9 7/8″ (20 x 25 cm.). Two have stamps on verso of Calcutta photographer Hirak Sen. Just about fine.
Five images of Satyajit Ray directing his adaptation of Henrik Ibsen, titled in Hindi Ganashatru, a story of an idealistic physician who discovers that the town’s temple waters are dangerously contaminated, but then finds his warnings disregarded because the temple is a major tourist attraction.
