[Los Angeles]: Columbia Pictures, 1949. Set of ten (10) Vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm.) black-and-white glossy silver gelatin photos. General wear including corner creases and soiling to blank white margins and versos. Very good.

Douglas Sirk directed this noir about a parole officer who falls in love with his ravishing blonde parolee, a murderess. The major cast members, including Cornell Wilde, Patricia Knight, John Baragrey and others, are present in scenes including those filmed in atmospheric downtown Los Angeles. The script was written by Sam Fuller, but his violent ending was softened by a second writer, Helen Deutsch.
