Fugue in a Nursery was the second of what came to be the three plays in Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song Trilogy. This poster is for its very first production off-off-Broadway in the winter of 1970. There was then a follow-up production off-Broadway which opened in December, 1979. Eventually the trilogy made its way to Broadway.

This, however, is the very scarce poster for the play’s very first production. On the back there are autographs of Harvey Fierstein, Edward Griffith, Marilyn Hamlin and various other members of the cast and crew.
