Paris: Films Sonores Tobis, 1932. Vintage original 63 x 47″ (160 x 120 cm) French poster. Conserved on linen, with restoration to “M” in “Meerson” at bottom left and minor touch-up to fold wear, near fine.

Jean-Adrien (J.A.) Mercier was one of the top French poster designers of the 1930s. Here he has created a sumptuous Art Deco design for this René Clair early talking comedy. Poster has a 1932 date, with the film premiering in 1933.

In brilliant condition with very bright colors.
