Alvin York. [Los Angeles]: Warner Brothers, 1940-1941. Pair of vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm) black-and-white photos, both with mimeographed text and date stamps on verso, overall near fine.

Both photos were issued by Warner Brothers to promote their upcoming film about war hero Alvin York entitled Sergeant York, directed by Howard Hawks and starring Gary Cooper. One shows York with actress Mona Barris; the other shows him with Barris, Harry Warner and Jesse Lasky.
