Art Farmer. New York: Raymond Ross, ca. 1958-1960s. Two vintage original 10 x 8″ (25 x 20 cm) black-and-white photos, one fine and the other with age toning, a horizontal crease and a light printing mark inside, overall very good.
The earlier portrait, ca. 1958, is of a younger Art Farmer, then known as a bebop artist. He moved into increasingly experimental jazz. He was known as a trumpet and flugelhorn artist. The second photo has photographer’s note on verso: “Art Farmer @ record session NYC”.
