Los Angeles: Columbia Pictures, RKO Radio Pictures, 1943, 1948. Set of four vintage original 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm) and 4 x 5″ (10 x 12 cm) black-and-white single and double weight glossy silver gelatin photos. Overall fine.

Film director George Stevens is seen in one photo at a behind-the-scenes gathering with actor Joel McCrea and three ladies while making the 1943 Columbia Pictures comedy The More the Merrier. The other three photos are for I Remember Mama, his 1948 RKO film. He is seen viewing a poster of himself advertising the film; working on location in San Francisco with Irene Dunne and Barbara Bel Geddes; and directing a scene on stage in a mock-up 1910 car with Dunne, Oskar Homolka and Barbara O’Neil. There are attached blurbs and notations on the versos.
