Portraits of the MGM 1930s singing star Jeanette MacDonald in contemporary dress and style to publicize her appearance in the period operetta, The Firefly. This would be one of very few films Jeanette appeared in without her partner Nelson Eddy. Alan Jones would sing and romance with her for this epic musical.
