Pair of vintage original black-and-white photos, overall near fine.
- One 4 5/8 x 6 5/8″ (12 x 17 cm) double weight photo with date stamp of Mar 28, 1928, and holograph note “Maxim Gorky, daughter-in-law and grandchild” on verso.
- One 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm) press photo with Associated Press stamp and mimeographed text on verso (part of text has torn off but is present). Gorky with theatre director Glasunov, who is going to direct his new play in Moscow.
