SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (1976-79) Photo archive

Group of twenty-three vintage original black-and-white photos, mostly 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm), overall very good+.

Archive showing the earliest cast members (Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, John Belushi, Garrett Morris, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin and Laraine Newman), with images from some famous skits (“Samurai Hitman”, “Emily Litella”, “Weekend Update”, etc.).

Includes:

• Seven photos of Gilda Radner, most ca. 1976-77, two of them double weight, one of them approximately 7 x 9″. One is a montage showing four of the characters she played, dated 1976; one shows her with Chevy Chase in her character of Emily Litella; one has her attending an event with Bill Murray.
• Three photos of Garrett Morris: one a portrait from 1976, one showing him with Elliott Gould and Laraine Newman, and one with Ralph Nader.
• One photo with printing marks from “Coneheads” showing the 3 principals.
• Three photos of Dan Aykroyd: one a montage of 4 of his characters, one with Eric Idle, and one portrait/headshot.
• Four photos of Chevy Chase, including one with Louise Lasser, the host who was most hated of anyone who has appeared as guest host; one a portrait; one a double weight photo of him in “Weekend Update”; and one of him with Buck Henry.
• A montage photo of John Belushi as four of his characters, including “Samurai Hitman”.
• One photo of Laraine Newman with Fran Tarkenton.
• Three photos of Bill Murray: 2 portraits and one photo of him with Elliott Gould and John Belushi, ca. 1977.
