$200.00

Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures, 1971. Two vintage original 7 x 9″ (17 x 22 cm) black-and-white glossy photos. Both have Paramount date and copyright ink stamp information on verso. Overall fine.

Set designer Harper Goff is seen with a 3D model of one of his sets, and with Jack Albertson and Peter Ostrum on set demonstrating one of his creations.

Harper Goff (1911-1993) was a multi-talented actor (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea), art director, producer and scenic designer. He started his career with Warner Brothers’ 1935 A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and worked on classics including Casablanca and as one of the principal designers of Disneyland. This made him the perfect choice for creating the magical world of Willy Wonka. He was honored posthumously with the Art Directors Guild Hall of Fame award in 2014.

Photos coded WW-5043-34-3/2 and WW-5021-619-2/1.
