The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is almost certainly the first great horror film. It made a huge impression worldwide at the time of its release, both as a very striking early example of German expressionist cinema, and also as an influence on many horror films which would follow.

This book has extensive illustrations from the film. A search of the WorldCat database yields only two libraries owning an example of this book, and I found no other examples available online for purchase.
