Steve McQueen is portrayed in character in each of these images as American racing champ Michael Delany, out to win the Le Mans. Short on script but large on portraying the excitement of competitive auto racing on the world’s most difficult course.

Photos are coded 5057-10, 11, 17 and 22 (each with attached paper blurb). One is date stamped May 19 1971. The blurbs explain that the movie was filmed at the famed French race.
